Presentation Clara

A Burkinabe stylist that defines her genre as a challenge of cohesiveness between different cultures. She advocates the kind of openness, the marriage between different worlds and cultures: western, African. Clara uses typical African textiles, linen and traditional hand-crafted objects.

Half-caste Brazilian-Afro-American, Clara is a feminine fighter.

With a diploma in marketing and business, she continues her education with a study of esthetics and fashion in France and in the States.

She participates in artistic meetings.

1998:	Invited by the Namibian government to present her “Wind of the Sahel” collection at the Chief of States Summit of Southern Africa.
1999:	FESPACO

Her talent has been crowned in the year 2000 with a first price DIAMOND for the “Mermaid of the Sahel” collection at the KORA FASHION AWARD in Sun City, South Africa.

She distinguishes herself at the SIMOD 2001 in Dakar, Senegal, with the “NAZEMSEME” collection.

A stylist that has understood the rules of business and intelligently rimes creativity with profitability.

She is co-producer of the first edition of « Burkina Beauty », a concept elaborated to promote the Burkinabe Fashion.

Clara has been chosen to be the exclusive representative of KENZO for Men in Burkina Faso since December 2001.
